Rebecca "Lambchop" Reilly is the author of "Nerves of Steel - Bike Messengers in the United States". In her book, Rebecca tells stories of her adventures as a bike messenger in several cities around the USA. The single most important work in the large class of historical bike messenger memoirs, Nerves of Steel gives the reader a true look into the emotional side of the bike messenger community.

Lambchop is the call name I received from the SF Messengers. I've
been a Messenger for 8 years and the past 7 I have been traveling
around the country collecting stories, photos and other Messenger memorabilia
for a book I am writing about Messengers in North America. This collection
of articles are not samples from the book but instead fanciful characterizations
of Messenger life and my own unadulterated opinion.
