| | CMWC 2K Day 2 Stardate whatever - a former rant disorganiser races again |

| | Still here still in one piece, despite having had my lungs come out of my |
| | mouth again. Uuurgh. |

| | Not sure whether I qualified for the final. Not sure if I would be unhappy |
| | not to be in the final or relieved not to be in the final. There are a lot |
| | of places on the course where you can just bang in the big ring and go (the |
| | french call that 'mettez la tout droit'), and really hurt yourself. Yvonne |
| | took 8 whole minutes out of me yesterday but I took 30 seconds out of her |
| | today. |

| | Yesterday I was taking the piss out of the Boston Blackouts for ordering 20 |
| | cases of beer to be delivered, today I will herald them as visionaries the |
| | like of which have not been seen since Laurent Fignon started wearing |
| | bifocals. Serious beer shortage today. Who organised the licensing laws in |
| | Pennsylvania? A mad goat with a pathological hatred of bike messenger |
| | events? Or was it the Canadians? |

| | Most enlightening moment of the day: hearing the Canadians trying to |
| | remember the recipe for ice. |

| | Most obscene moment of the day: watching B-mac mounting his bike (and we |
| | mean mount) in a kilt with the Flag of St Andrew caught in his back wheel - |
| | Timber!!! |

| | Most boring moment of the day: Trying to find out where the Sprints were |
| | going to be. |
| | |
| | 2nd most boring moment of the day: Waiting for the Sprints to start. |

| | Best moment of the day: Realising that the main race had finished at 130PM - |
| | 2 1/2 hours before the cops would have started charging $500/hour overtime. |
