after a few flight delays in atlanta... fun fun fun...

anyhow, a big hearty thank you to all of you in philly - you know who you are

by now - who helped make the cmwc possible - with a lead time shorter than

anyone to date, you managed to pull it off, and that in an of itself is worthy

of big congratulations. thanks also to allison, matt and tracy who put me up

in boston and philly while i was there!

this years gonna get remembered as a high point for me simply for even

making the finals - i saw the light at the end of the tunnel last year in

toronto,

but i think now i can definitively say that the organizers curse is dead, at

least as far as im concerned!

theres a lot of you i didnt get to spend the time i wouldve liked with, and a

lot of you i didnt get to say goodbye to as well, but theres always next

year...

ill see you all in budapest, or maybe mpls at the north americans!

those of you bidding for 2002 - houston/seattle/calgary/nyc/copenhagen -

ill be getting organizers guidebooks out to you within the next few months.

anyone thinking about planning events leading up to cmwc 2001, let me

know as far in advance as possible - im gonna be working on yet another

tour de france gig as soon as the tour route is revealed, cause im planning

on making a big trip out of this...
