UPS and Mailboxes, Etc. are to be avoided. They give no warning

if a bike is improperly packed and even sell insurance which is

no good if you packed the bike yourself.

They require too much disassembly and the wheels won't fit in

the carton. They have to be packed separately, and the carton is

so small that they have to deflate the tires.

My bike arrived at its destination with the headlight separated

from the handlebars, a smashed rear blinker, and a bent frame.

The rates are exorbitant. Shipping the bike from Washington, DC

to Lake Geneva, WI cost $103.00 but the seniors fare on AMTRAK

is $64.00 from Washington, DC to Chicago.
