| | You can get a Zaskar hard tail frame for 750 canuckle bucks, thats less than |
| | 500 yankee bucks. Thats Aluminum, they have a large selection of steel |
| | frames that are even less. I have a Tequesta made of 4130, Five years and |
| | the triple triangle frame design is still stiff. My brother has a Kona three |
| | years old and it feels like a wet noodle compared to it. I weigh in at a |
| | whoppin 220 so let's say I am not easy on it. |

| | As far as suspension goes, I to was a "They won't take away my rigid fork |
| | until they pry it out of my cold dead thighs." kind of guy. After shattering |
| | my elbow in march I couldn't ride for a while and when I started to build my |
| | bike again I ended up getting a sweet deal on a Marzzochi junior T. Four and |
| | a half inches in travel and it is very active. Although it is heavy, it is a |
| | total comfort ride. |

| | I have a couple of bikes, and would suggest you have a back up bike as well. |
| | For the mornings you wake up still drunk to find your ride has a flat and a |
| | tree branch wedged through the chain ring, ( believe me it can happen). And |
| | I would suggest having a roadie whether it's a fixie or not. A less |
| | comfortable ride but way lighter and faster, like comparing a canoe to a row |
| | boat. And before you blow all your money on a bike try a couple of diffrent |
| | styles Roadie, MTB, theres a couple of guys on BMX here, and they like it. |
| | But find your main bike then start on the second one. Varietie is the spice |
| | of life... |
