| | I have received so many messages about this that I feel like I should get |
| | this out in the open. |

| | Mike Dee was disqualified from the race for the following reasons: |
| | -refusing to dismount at the finish line |
| | -crashing into another rider at the finish line |
| | -crashing into our timing guy at the finish line |
| | -crashing into our timing system at the finish line |
| | -giving the finger to our timing guy and volunteers at the finish line |
| | -being abusive to our volunteers at checkpoints |

| | Any one of these reasons were enough to get him DQ'd, but the combination of |
| | all of them was hard to overlook. |

| | For the record, I DID NOT contact Kozmo.com in New York City and request, |
| | suggest, mention, hint or in any other way try to get Mike Dee fired from |
| | his job. I DID NOT contact Kozmo in NYC at all. I was much too busy and I |
| | have no idea how to go about doing it. |

| | It is regrettable that because of his actions in Philadelphia Mike Dee was |
| | fired, but I personally had nothing to do with that decision. While I wish |
| | I had that much power over other people's lives (I would use it to get a |
| | raise at my own job) I simply do not. |

| | Threatening me is not going to get Mike Dee his job back. Neither is |
| | sending me countless emails calling me a bitch. |
