| | |
| | indeed. i've been riding ATAC's on the fixie my roomie is loaning me, and |
| | they've been fine. a bit mooshy when one needs to really throw down a stop |
| | (especially on seattle's nasty downtown hills) but otherwise fine. i tried |
| | looks on 'em, and loved 'em, but unfortunately they're pretty impractical |
| | for this town, at least from a work perspective. i knew a guy who worked in |
| | looks for a long time and finally realized they were ruining his feet due to |
| | the complete lack of flex--one can end up with plantar fasciitis (the |
| | connective tissue in your foot causing you hell of botheration--fancy name |
| | for nodes forming on the big tendons underneath the soles of yer feet) |
| | because the shoe doesn't allow your foot to flex naturally. |

| | |
| | spuds suck for anything except msgr work on a roadie or mtb...in my humble |
| | opine. i really have learned to loathe the unhealthy buggers, after picking |
| | up a pair of ATAC's. i'll tell you, my favorite pedal so far is the bebop |
| | (old lollipop style, the ones that everyone thinks look like speedplay |
| | x's--new ones just came out that looks a whole lot more like spd's...and so |
| | far look to be a whole lot better-engineered) |
| | ATAC's rock too. i just don't like it when i'm mashing hell of fast on a |
| | flat, 54x12 on my crit monster, and can feel the springs flexing in the 3 |
| | and 9 o'clock positions...they're great for MTB'in though. |
| | |

| | |
| | er, perhaps. perhaps not. |
| | did you go to philly this year britvic? if you did, did you see 'big trouble |
| | in little bummietown"? |
| | order a copy of it from damon (team satan san francisco, the pres of the |
| | SFBMA now...) if you haven't. |
| | |
| | |
| | it's bloody hilarious. |
